Manitoba RCMP: Winnipeg lady died whereas skydiving

RCMP in Gimli, Man. is investigating after a 53-year-old lady from Winnipeg died whereas skydiving on Saturday.

Investigators mentioned they obtained calls round 7:25 p.m. for stories of a “parachuting incident” within the Gimli Industrial Park.

When police arrived on scene, a lady was discovered unresponsive and she or he was declared lifeless on the scene of the incident.

RCMP mentioned the girl was a really skilled skydiver and she or he was sporting the correct security gear.

“When she jumped from the aircraft, her parachute appeared to open on the correct altitude, however she entered in a spin and collided with the bottom,” RCMP mentioned in a launch.

Investigators mentioned there have been no issues with the aircraft and three different individuals have been within the plane when the girl jumped.

RCMP proceed to analyze the incident.

Skydiving Manitoba had no touch upon the incident.
